Our data comes from multiple reliable sources including Riot Games' official Data Dragon API, community contributions from experienced players, and analysis of high-elo match data. This combination ensures accuracy and relevance for all skill levels.

Our tier system ranks champions and comps by their strength in the current meta:
  • S-tier: The strongest options, consistently perform well
  • A-tier: Very strong and reliable choices
  • B-tier: Viable and can succeed in the right conditions
  • C-tier: Situational picks, require specific setups
Check our Tier List for current rankings.
Building a successful TFT comp involves several key steps:
  1. Choose a core trait or carry champion to build around
  2. Add champions that activate synergy bonuses with your core
  3. Prioritize best-in-slot items for your main carry
  4. Position your units strategically based on their roles
Our comp guides include all these details to help you execute each build effectively.
Visit our Champions page to see the best-in-slot (BiS) items for each champion. You can also use our Item Builder to explore all item combinations. Remember that optimal items can vary depending on your team comp and the current meta.
Teamfight Tactics is an auto-battler strategy game by Riot Games. Eight players compete in rounds, building teams from a shared pool of champions. You collect champions, upgrade them by combining duplicates, equip items, and position your team on a hexagonal board. The last player standing wins. TFT combines strategic planning with adaptability, making each game unique.
Traits are champion synergies that provide powerful bonuses when activated. Each champion has one or more traits (like Origins and Classes). When you have enough champions sharing the same trait on your board, you unlock progressively stronger bonuses. For example, having 2 champions with the same trait might give a small buff, while 6 could provide a game-changing effect. Traits are the foundation of team building in TFT.
Items in TFT are created by combining two basic components. Each champion can equip up to 3 items. Once an item is placed on a champion, it's permanent (though some mechanics allow item removal). Components drop from PvE rounds and carousel rounds. Knowing which items to build and which champions to prioritize for items is crucial for success.
Economy refers to gold management strategy. Key concepts include:
  • Interest: Earn +1 gold per 10 gold saved (up to +5 at 50 gold)
  • Win/Loss Streaks: Consecutive wins or losses grant bonus gold
  • Level vs Roll: Balance spending on XP versus rolling for champions
Mastering economy helps you hit power spikes at the right times.
